Leaning down, he picks up the kit and turns it over. This is the real deal. Over 600 parts. It's just like the one he had back in his room- the one that had taken him literal months to finish, and to this day, completely fucking haunts him that he's missing one piece off the left arm of the finished product since he was horrible at keeping all the bits together.
But he knocks on the door, just in case Gundam is the owner of this Gundam, and waits patiently.
Except, of course, when he grows more impatient and starts communicating from the other side.]
